Tips to Help Reach your Goals
- Use what you’ve got! Email your fundraiser page to family and friends and ask them to support you by donating. Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and let others know what you are doing! Make it easy for them to donate by adding a link to your everydayhero page.
- Get creative and be specific: Have a Five Dollar Friday or a Ten Dollar Tuesday. Challenge your friends to skip their coffee run and donate the money one day. If your fundraising goal is $100, ask 10 people to donate $10 each. Or you could ask people to donate a dollar a day for the month of September.
- Let your donors know you appreciate them! Take the time to update your donors on your progress and outcome. And don’t forget to say thank you!
- Need a few more ideas? Start a fitness challenge, create a project and get your family involved, or “auction” off your best secret recipe to the highest bidder!
