Over 50,000 Rutgers fans all joined together in a stadium group HUG to celebrate the newest vision of spreading awareness that Kids Get Cancer Too through a social media campaign lovingly named Hugging Heroes.  And now, Rutgers is challenging the other Big 10 teams as well as all other colleges to replicate the “half time HUG” to help create awareness and funds for very worthy foundations and Cancer Institutions.  It is simple and takes very little time to get involved in this movement.   We would like to thank Eloquent Studios for their great photography and videos of the event. 0715-380HH-HuggingHeroes-LogoDesign-Final-Web Hugging Heroes is a multi-charity campaign designed to promote awareness for pediatric cancer and to inspire action to support the fight against it. The campaign is centered on a challenge: participants will record a video of themselves “hugging their heroes,” nominate friends to complete the challenge, and post the clips to social media. Hugging Heroes is NOT solely a campaign for Hugs for Brady, we are collaborating with as many organizations as possible to be certain that this campaign reaches as many people as it can. Hugs for Brady will not be the only charity to benefit from this campaign either, every charity that we partner with will have a page on our fundraising platform and will be able to raise money for themselves.
Have you hugged your hero and challenged your friends yet? It’s easy, it’s fun, and it helps raise money to support multiple pediatric cancer foundations.
Hugging Heroes How To The purpose of the Hugs for Brady Foundation and campaigns like #HuggingHeroes is to raise awareness and support for the 13,500 children who are diagnosed with cancer in the US each year. Childhood cancer research is vastly and consistently underfunded and we need to change that. Please accept our challenge to Hug your Hero and donate to help the young heroes who are so bravely battling cancer right now. Take a moment to read more about why this fight is so important and find out how you can help us make a difference in the lives of these beautiful children!
