Be there to witness the start of something HUGE!
On October 10th, 2015, during halftime at the 8pm Rutgers Football game, we are doing a GIANT Group Hug on the football field to kick off “HUGGING HEROES” – a campaign to raise awareness for pediatric cancer!
Hugging Heroes is a multi-charity campaign designed to promote awareness for pediatric cancer and to inspire action to support the fight against it. The campaign is centered on a challenge: participants will record a video of themselves “hugging their heroes,” nominate friends to complete the challenge, and post the clips to social media. Hugging Heroes is NOT solely a campaign for Hugs for Brady, we are collaborating with as many organizations as possible to be certain that this campaign reaches as many people as it can. Hugs for Brady will not be the only charity to benefit from this campaign either, every charity that we partner with will have a page on our fundraising platform and will be able to raise money for themselves. We need other charities to help promote the campaign via social media so that it reaches as many people as possible! This campaign will raise awareness, inspire support, raise money and bring us one step closer to a cure! With your help, we can change the way childhood cancer is viewed in America. Something as small as a symbolic hug can have a tremendous impact in today’s world because it brings this problem to the attention of the people, so please share this campaign with everyone you can, and help give our young heroes hope. So, what are you waiting for, start posting today and challenge your friends and family!
We are kicking things off with a GIANT group hug at halftime of the Rutgers Football game against Michigan State on October 10th.
We think this event is an AWESOME way to promote how Hugs for Brady and the other pediatric cancer charities involved with the new Hugging Heroes initiative are vital in making an impact on the fight against childhood cancer. Please consider helping us in this noble battle and volunteer to promote this event! Hugs for Brady volunteers always have a great time and we love working together to support such a necessary cause. We need to get lots of video posts online before the game so that things are in full swing once we do the GIANT Group Hug on the field at halftime, so please post your video today! Taking just a few moments to hug your hero is an EASY way raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and will help improve the lives of the children battling the terrible disease.
