Somerset Patriots GO BIG for the Hugs for Brady Foundation – Shocking announcement by CEO

This year’s Somerset Patriots 16th Annual Golf Classic ended with a BIG surprise!

The 16th annual Liberty Divisionblogpost_baseball_golfouting_header Somerset Patriots Golf Outing took place on Tuesday, August 4th at Somerset County’s beautiful NESHANIC VALLEY GOLF COURSE in Neshanic Station, NJ. Each group of golfers was paired up with a Patriots player for the day. Participants had a beautiful buffet lunch, putting contest, and the opportunity to use the driving range before a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. After a fun round of golf that included beverages and contests on the course, a luxurious cocktail reception was held with a buffet dinner and awards banquet in Neshanic Valley’s elegant dining room overlooking the fairways. All golfers then had the opportunity to meet each of the Somerset Patriots.
After Sherrie Wells finished giving her speech thanking the Somerset Patriots for generously donating the proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle to Hugs for Brady, Steve Kalifer, the CEO of the Somerset Patriots made a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT… He announced that he would, MATCH all proceeds from the 50/50 raffle!” BUT then he said, “No, wait… we are gonna QUADRUPLE it!” The total amount donated to the Hugs for Brady Foundation… $3,100.00 x 4 = $12,400.00!

Sherrie Wells and the Hugs for Brady Foundation would like to thank the Kalifer family, the Somerset Patriots Team and their families, and all the Golf Outing participants for being so generous with their AMAZING gifts of love, time, monetary donations, and support for the Hugs for Brady Foundation in the battle against pediatric cancer!
