All hospitals work differently, but you should start by calling the main number and asking for the Director of Child Life Services. This person is in charge of making sure the children are engaged and well-stocked with toys and activities. If for some reason your hospital does not have a child life department then you could ask for the hospital’s foundation. Once you have a contact, ask them to visit our website or send them our informational flyer, so that they can learn more about the wagons. Typically, they appreciate one or more per department (pediatric oncology, emergency room, same-day procedures, transport team, pediatric intensive care, general rooms).
